TPED provides capacity building and technical assistance, in the field of transfer pricing, to ministries of finance and tax administrations of emerging and developing countries. Such projects are also the occasion for TPED to widespread TPED’s economic research in transfer pricing and gather unique perspectives and feed-back from tax officials in the various countries.
TPED was appointed by the Directorate General for Structural Reform Support (“DG Reform”) of the European Commission in connection with the following project: Expert assistance in strengthening transfer pricing legal framework of a EU member country.
In the framework of a Program for good Governance, Burkina Faso had identified a need for capacity building for its tax administration as regards the identification and treatment of multinational companies’ abuses.
